Human Resources Assistant

Overview
The HR Assistant is primarily responsible for handling day-to-day HR tasks, assisting with recruitment, maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and supporting other HR activities. They often work under the supervision of an HR Manager or HR Director but are directly involved in various HR processes and serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
Responsibilities
Maintain employee records: Organize and update employee files, ensuring that personal, payroll, and benefit information is accurate and confidential.
Coordinate interviews: Schedule and organize interview times, ensuring that all necessary parties are informed and prepared.
Assist with benefits enrollment: Help employees understand and enroll in benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Support timekeeping: Monitor and verify employee time sheets, ensuring that time-off requests, overtime, and absences are properly recorded.
Support employee engagement: Assist in organizing employee events, recognition programs, or team-building activities to promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Additional certifications, such as those offered by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), may be beneficial but are not always required.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
Interpersonal skills: Ability to engage with people at all levels of the organization, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Problem-solving: Ability to address employee concerns or administrative challenges as they arise.
The Junior Account Manager's main focus is to build and maintain strong client relationships, assist in the day-to-day management of accounts, and ensure that the client's needs are met. They work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, customer service, and production) to deliver solutions that satisfy client expectations and help grow the business.
Responsibilities
Build relationships Develop rapport with clients and ensure their needs and expectations are being met in a timely and professional manner.
Support account management activities Assist with the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring all tasks and projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Prepare proposals Assist in drafting proposals, quotes, and other sales documents for clients, ensuring they meet client needs and are in line with company offerings.
Facilitate communication Ensure smooth communication between the client and the internal teams to address issues, updates, or changes to the project or service being delivered.
Assist in resolving issues Help resolve client issues or concerns by investigating problems, coordinating solutions, and keeping the client informed throughout the process.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for liaising with clients and internal teams, drafting reports, and making presentations.
While the Junior Account Manager may not have primary responsibility for sales, an understanding of how to identify opportunities and assist in upselling services or products is beneficial.
Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools. Familiarity with any industry-specific tools would also be advantageous.
The ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines, prioritizing efficiently to ensure client projects are completed on time.
